Location - Cavtat
The remains of ancient structures, Renaissance palaces and summer residences make the most of the town centre of Cavtat, a small famous tourist town near Dubrovnik. In the Ancient times it was known as Epidaurum, but today Cavtat is a touristic and cultural centre of Konavle, the southernmost region of Croatia with world-renown beauty, Mediterranean sceneries and clean sea.
Even today, Cavtat has managed to maintain the characteristics of a small urban Dalmatian town with a rich history and preserved traditional customs. Its harmonized architecture portrays the century-old natural, spiritual and material affiliations of Cavtat with the Republic of Dubrovnik.
Situated between magnificent Dubrovnik and stunning Konavle, where even today you can feel the spirit of the past and experience the century-old traditions of our ancestors, Cavtat is one of the most attractive destinations on the Adriatic coast.
